Scrimmages

I think it's vs. Northwestern, based on @ChrisMWilliams and @brentblum recent podcast. If I heard it correctly. Not sure of the date/day.
It is possible that someone who was in the building where the scrimmage against Northwestern may have taken place this morning told me that the Clones won by about 10 but were down by more than 10 at halftime. Players who looked good included Momcilovic, Lipsey, Jones, and Ward.
Jones is out for blood. If he improved as much as he did last year, it will be great to see people eat crow.
That's cool. Overall better to win then lose, but hard to tell if it really means much. TJ could have been experimenting with things in the first, or NW was happy with what they did in the first and tried some different stuff out in the second, or all of the above. Nice to hear Ward and Momcilo played well.
He is in my top 5 favorite ISU players ever. I bet he averages at least 15 min a game again this year.

Honestly, I don't get the secret scrimmages. Just watched highlights from 2 high level teams and the atmosphere in that arena was near March madness-like. I'd love to see the Creighton preseason scrimmage in a home and home. Would be a great "friendly" rivalry that doesn't count against either team.
I agree on the exhibition thing but I'd guess these schools also have secret scrimmages of some sort?
Unless that's what these count for.
I guess ISU doesn't really have any exhibition games.
