So essentially, she fired him. He didn't resign. Props to her standing up to Kirk.
I would have to think this all but guarantees Kirk retires at the end of the season too. I can't imagine he and the new AD have a good connection when she fires his son.
I said it before but I’ll say it again. I’ll be surprised if this isn’t KF’s last year as well.
I can just imagine Kirk sitting across the table from Beth in a poorly lit room. Lips smacking. No talking. Just staring and smacking. 10 packs later, Kirk gets up and walks out.

Nah, this is where Kirk pulls some strings with the presidents office. She is out as interim, Kirk is hired as the new AD. Brian is the new head football coach. Christmas comes early for ISU fans everywhere.

That's, honestly, a pretty good list but it would take Kirk getting out of the way and accepting change which isn't a lock...
A competently run Iowa athletic department could be pretty impressive. Their fans have been beaten into submission by high-end mediocrity.
I’m confused. Is it really resigning if his contract was not renewed? Or was he even let go for that matter? They have just chosen to cut ties at the conclusion of his contract, which based on the offensive results was to be cancelled.
