I feel so dumb for even suggesting Campbell should have been fired

To start 1-2 and do it the way we did it looked like nothing had changed. I was pretty down bad after the OU loss too

I was definitely concerned about some trends in the the last couple years but the staff and team have done fantastic since the Ohio game so props to them.

I did not vote, but I was very irate when we were 1-2 . Considering the starting QB, TE, RB, and DT were lost, Campbell has done extremely well so far- especially with so many staff changes. This might be his best season at ISU of doing more with less.

That all apparently ended up being a fair amount of addition by subtraction. This team is winning more, playing well and still getting better. A ton of turnover on roster and on the staff, and Campbell has CEO'd it very well thus far.

Here's my comment….doesn't sound too negative to me…

"This year? Too early to tell. One game doesn’t make a season. Let’s ask again after homecoming. If the team is 1-4 then it’s very bad. 2-3…bad with little hope in conference. Above that…there is life and we are seeing some improvement."

Prediction of 1-11 isn’t too negative.

Some lessons for getting too low or too high during a season. But the Ohio loss is still REALLY bad (they lost at home to Miami OH today). Iowa loss looks really bad too. But glad we have adjusted and improved to get to this point. Still a long way to go.

iowa is bad but their starting QB is out now.
