Looks like he’s too focused on running the ball with those O stats.
Also, how are you not last in passing when your QB had a 39% completion rate?
Seems like a fair question for Kirk's next presser.
"Kirk, regarding your defensive lineman attempting to slap the ball from the center as he's snapping it, is that something you coach your players to do, or are they doing that on their own?"

Whats insane is they cant run the ball AT ALL. Thats been their whole identity for 20 years. They have a couple good backs. They've had good linemen for 2 decades and now suddenly they are terrible.
Maybe it really WAS just Doyles rhabdo roid juice that made them good.
Its more likely i will start for them at nose tackle next game than any reporter around here would ask that.

This is worst case scenario for Iowa fans. If Kirk stays, Brian stays. If Brian leaves, Kirk leaves. They have a national reputation for being absolutely garbage for offense. And would Phil Parker be around if the Ferentz crew left? I doubt it.

I’ve seen a lot of “That happens all the time and it’s never called.” I don’t agree with that. We see the pointing (which isn’t the invalid fair catch part), but even that is almost always followed by the returner just running away from the ball or at most just falling on it. I don’t recall seeing players wave their arm and then trying to return a punt.
Their style of play under Ferentz pretty much requires a good o-line and running game to be good on offense. Losing those and not adapting leads to what we're seeing now.

When is Jamie going to issue a warning to the other BIG ADs about playing in Iowa City and all the hooligans for fans. If BIG had any guts, there should be a hefty fine for the garbage throwing. Let's say $100,000.

Meh Iowa’s defense is solid but let’s get serious, the QB play in the B1G is awful. Iowa feasts on weak offense.
So is it Bacon Hill or Deacon Hill? Whatever his name is, he has that Nate Stanley build and lack of speed look to him.
Kirk is gonna pull a Hayden and stay like two years too long. With the new look B1G it would make sense for him to hang it up after this year but he won’t and it will get ugly.
Other than tOSU, Michigan, and Pedo State.... can anyone name a team in the Big 10 with a good offense? What a garbage conference. The weekly matchups should either not be televised, or not played at all.
