ISU announced that single game MBB tickets would be going on sale today at 10 Central. I went on at 10 to attempt to purchase 6 tickets to the KU game, but was disappointed to see that it was already sold out. The Iowa game was the same.

I called the ticket office and asked what the deal was and they told me they opened up ticket sales to donors earlier in the week and all of the KU and Iowa tix got bought up.

If I am understanding correctly, ISU won’t be selling any tickets to the general (non donor) public this year for these games. I don’t remember this happening in previous years but could be wrong. If that’s the case, I guess the only option is to buy marked up resale tickets on Ticketmaster?

TIA for any advice!

I don't remember the last time either one of those games made it to the general public. The donor pre-sale always sells those two out. The secondary market is your only option.

The AD always gives donors early access to single game tickets prior to releasing them to the general public.

This year donors bought all the Iowa and KU tickets during that presale window (and I bet they always do).

You can buy tickets here to avoid ticketmaster fees, but, yes, you're going to pay over face value for those games.

Thanks all! Well, if anyone is trying to offload some tickets, I’m in the market! Making my way back to Ames from Oregon for my first game at Hilton in 5 years.

I need 6 total but doubt anyone is selling that many so definitely willing to split the group up. Go Clones.
