on trick or treat night, besides the buckets of candy we have “adult beverage treats” for the parents. Normally do small bottles of wine but want to add mini bear cans. Where can you buy 8 oz cans in The Des Moines area?

People just openly carry 12oz cans and one of the adults pulls a cooler with them around here. 
We usually congregate around a fire pit with neighbors and make our street a one-stop shop for all of your Trick or Treating needs.
Last year, we handed out Fireball shots for the parents. One of the dads can back twice wearing each of his kids masks.

Candy is expensive enough. Buy your own beer.
I just sit at the house passing out candy, pounding Ames Lagers. The wife goes trick or treating with the 3 year old, I'm not about that noise.
One part Peanut butter whiskey
One part White creme de cocoa
One part Baileys Irish Cream
Mix together and keep chilled. Then get those 3 oz bathroom paper cups and give the parents a shot of that.

With our daughters 22 and 18 we've been done with the trick-or-treating thing for several years now, I'm sure I'll miss it someday but honestly spending Halloween at home with a big pot of chili on the stove, handing out candy with the "Halloween" movies on is one of my favorite nights of the year.
For the love that is good and holy can we just put Beggars Night on a Friday/Saturday? Doing this **** on a Monday night after a long day of school/work/extra curriculars is torture.
