Loved the fake FG and improved play calling.
Amazed at the change across the board after the "hot seat" flare-up in Athens.
Hope things continue this way.
I’m the other way, the minute we’re getting blown out I bounce for at least a few days from CF and ISU media haha. 2-3 venting posts, then short vacation. When it’s rolling that’s when it’s fun to hang.
I think Rocco only threw one pass at risk of being picked off. I still wish we weren't so predictable on 1st and 2nd down in the red zone. Rocco has been really good on 3rd down.

Texas at home and KU not used to being a circled game for opponents makes them all winnable, some are “should win” if we play like today and TCU.
As an expert on complaining, can absolutely agree with this.
Double digit road wins are always worth celebrating.
Would love to see ISU ruin things for Texas, KU, and KSU.
We absolutely have the potential to be quite good yet this year…. and the next few years could be special.

Can I just say how helpful it is to finally be decent at special teams play? A huge help to have a quality placekicker, dude had a couple of hiccups early in September but otherwise has been nailz.
Hard to believe we have only 2 home games left... and both are against ranked teams. Dare I say we have a chance to win out?
I mean the last 2 are probably the hardest but KState hasn't looked great and I like our chances in Nov against Texas at home. I think we should at least be in every game and should end with 2 or 3 more wins

Still happy with the 38 run / 25 pass mix. And this it skewed to kill clock.
That botched snap but recovery from the holder actually showed strong fundamentals on his part to get it down so quickly.
If Iowa State keeps on winning, and when Texas comes to play in Ames. Texas does not have a very good record playing in Ames in really late October and November games. In fact the only win I think was in 1999 and that game was very very close like 44 to 41 Texas winning.
If we somehow get 7 wins in the same season as that Ohio game that’s a miraculous turnaround. That was a top 5 difficult to stomach game for me as an ISU fan.
They’ve only played in Ames maybe twice (it might be three times) since they came into the league. It’s kinda BS.
