It’s crazy how Cincy and TCU can drop off so fast.
Cincy I’m not really sure how good they ever were, but they were at least dangerous. TCU obviously was very good to make and win a playoff game a year ago.
The important thing is we really needed that one for a bowl game and to prove we can win on the road.
No one outside of Texas should scare anybody. There are plenty of opportunities for W's if we continue to improve.
So what you are saying is we will beat everyone but Texas? That works
Prolly judt retrospect but aside from the OSU game in 2021 this has been the best ISU has looked holistically in three seasons.
TCU last week may have been but this one was good as well
Good teams blow out lesser teams, they did that last 2 games. Believe it or not that can also be an indicator especially this far into the season

Definitely belong in the top half of the conference.
I saw part of the opening drive on a work break, and the first few plays made it look like we totally outclassed Cincy. The final score makes it appear that never changed.
Pretty impressive change from September.

Will always take a road win, especially an easy one. Great game!

A gloriously boring win by the Cyclones!
Offense very efficient and strategically explosive. Would have liked to see a little more out of the run game, but they held their own today against a decent rush defense. Rocco managed the game well in the rain on the road and saw more running from him w/a TD.
Defense is was just flat out stout most of the day, allowing only 214 total yards for a paltry 3.5 yards per play. Getting 2 more INTs was nice. Really physical, aggressive, took good attack angles, wrapped up and prevented YAC yards; The young LBs were good most of the day today.
Special teams: A fake field goal that actually worked and eventually led to a TD, long kick return, good punt and kick off coverage. Tyler Perkins w/a huge save on a bad snap on a made FG.

After the KSU/OSU game last week and how ISU is looking now iflt's totally possible.
Gonna need breaks but that's usually required for winning.
