On to Cincinnati

Been watching some Cincy football this week, specifically the BYU and Miami OH game. They have trouble tackling, can’t block, and Jones gets rattled easy. Not to mention, on some pass plays, the closest CB is 8+ yards away. This will age SUPER poorly, but I really like our chances Saturday. How they hung with OU I truthfully have no idea.

Also, since 2019, they are 26-4 at home. However, 3 of those 4 losses have come this year. Welcome to the Big12

Heads up when I bought my tickets a month ago it was almost sold out.
If I remember right the visitor sections were upper level corner
They’ll have you at field level as well, which are the only lousy seats in the place. It’s a small stadium so it’s cozy and you will be close to the action wherever you are.

ISU can score in 30 seconds because the db’s are poorly coached. Throw it over the top and boom - score. UC can’t score in the red zone. Against Miami OH, made it into the red zone 7 times and scored a total of 13 points I think. It was tragic.
I don't have much knowledge of Cincy's program, but I always thought SS was a weird hire for them, and that they could have done better

You’re using the term “tragic” to a bunch of lifelong Iowa State fans. I’m tempted to say hold my beer but I’ll resist.

Haha. Resist, resist.

Let's not press our luck.

All of your scores in the Miami (OH) game came from the redzone for a total of 24 points.

7 trips to the redzone:
2 TDs (1 2pt conversion)
3 made kicks
1 missed kick
1 turnover on downs

Hmmm, I’m too lazy to do the research, but I thought the blocked kick and some of the successful kicks were out of the red zone.

Anyway, shame on me for regurgitating a stat someone posted and not checking it first.

"Over the top." That's hilarious. All of our route trees are in front of the sticks.

Some of them were from the 18 or so. On the edge, but definitely in the redzone. Don't get me wrong, settling for kicks 4 times and losing a goal line stand at the 1 is going to feel like crap.
