Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

Fun fact...
Last February when I was mostly alone in Melbourne I spent part of one day caching on the Yarra River where it flows through the river. Tonight, I found out that one of the guys on this trip with us is the cache owner of one of the caches I logged that day ( the person who placed and maintains a cache).
Small world indeed!

Unfortunate that it's during harvest, but we could really use the moisture - especially before the ground freezes

Carburetor install went pretty darn good. Over at the carb guy it was 1 oring and 10 minutes. So yeah I guess it was good that we tackled the job ourselves.

anyone have any experience with their doggos getting bone cancer? will know in 24 hours if ours has it.

Our Brittany had an inoperable tumor on the outside of his skull at the temple. We were unable to afford chemo at that time. He lived with it pain-free for over a year. He was 12 when it got him.

took him in this morning to the ER b/c our normal vet thought he may have had a flipped stomach but they ruled that out with an x-ray.

they did find sever arthritis in his spine and think thats where all his pain is coming from but mentioned the bone cancer as a possibility too but was sending it off to a radiologist. there wasn't necessarily a tumor they saw.

Person across the street put two of these up. I don't get it, The school bus stops in front of their house in the morning. The kids show up, mill bout for about 5 minutes and then the bus picks them up.
He leaves for work at about 6am and the bus comes by at about 8:15
