Here we go! We've officially reached ludicrous speed with the hype train. Brady and Montana comparisons.
What Brock has done in two years is truly remarkable. I don't know how he compares with the other QBs in the league, but he sure is playing at a very high level within the San Fran offense. I think it would be difficult to say that any QB is playing better right now. I don't think you could replace him with any other QB right now and expect the SF offense to be better. He has been that good.
@SanDiego49er is going to be really amazed(?) When they come back and learn about our special teams thru the yrs.
Pro football commentators around the country are now starting to say Purdy is the current leader for MVP.
It makes sense. He's a record setting QB for the top ranked team in the NFL. But don't dare compare his 2023 stats to Mahomes's 2023 stats or @deadeyededrick will call you a ******* idiot.
Vikings vs. Bears? I know that both are regional teams, but yuck!
So happy we get to enjoy watching two 1-4 teams play each other rather than watching the best team in football. We should all call our local affiliates!
Interesting note about Brock's TDs all coming from outside the tackles:

Well, the double reverse play was by design obviously.
Something I feel pretty strongly about is I think Shanahan tries to design plays where different guys are open during different windows of the pass protection cycle. Purdy has pressure in his face? There's a dump to McCaffrey or maybe a quick slant. 2-4 seconds to throw? There's a double move or Kittle hits the seem for a big play. Four + seconds and Purdy gets flushed? Guys seem to know what to do to get themselves open. On most every play there are one, if not multiple options open at different points of the play cycle.
I noticed it on a few replays were Purdy hit a quick read (and Kittle came open later) or vice versa. It looks easier when you have good personnel but much like the Belichek/Brady offenses, the 49er version is a well oiled machine. And it appears Brock understands it perfectly.
Pretty sure his scheme is have elite playmakers at 4-5 positions. Throw in a QB playing mistake free football and anyone's scheme is going to look amazing. They could be running a wing-T offense in SF right now and they would still be beating the doors off of everyone.
