Not that it's hard to do but any time Skip Bayless gets his stupid ass handed to him it's (at least) a tolerable watch.
I don't know what to tell you other than listen today's Cowherd podcast. He doesn't give Purdy anything beyond a back-handed compliment. His guest raves about him but Colin was only worried about how Dak didn't win that game.

He started his show off today talking about how good Purdy is. Not sure what you want out of him. Declare him best of all time?
It seems like a mistake to ignore the other 20 starters on the field. Also, Brock clearly has improved a lot since college, and even in his 1.5 NFL seasons. He obviously wasn't doing this when he got to San Francisco, otherwise he would have started right away. And he also wasn't close to this good even at the end of last season. Some would look at that as an indictment on Iowa State's coaching staff, but I think it's more of a credit to San Francisco's and shows how a player can improve when they are able to dedicate 100% of their time to their sport.
The 2020 Baylor game is a pretty good example of the Iowa State version of Brock Purdy.
1st half - 3 interceptions including a pick 6, seemingly forcing everything
2nd half - 3 TDs, playing nearly perfectly and looking as if he might be able to turn into what he is now
I mean, yes, Kyle Shannahan is clearly a more competent playcaller than anyone Brock had at ISU. Purdy also got real Brett Farve-y when under pressure. I fully believe the 49ers have taught Brock how to process the play unfolding significantly faster and how to progress through reads.
