49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

I love the narrative that Purdy is just throwing to wide open recievers. Take his first touchdown. Critics will point out how wide open Kittle is in the endzone, which is true. What they fail to mention is Purdy step ups in the pocket to avoid pressure and scrambles right to open a throwing lane and throws a dot to kittle on the run. That's an incredible play no matter how wide open the reciever is.

He creates a lot of stuff. He's incredible.

Feels like his receivers are always wide open.

Jimmy G sure doesn't make that throw, let alone get the TD completion.

No he hasn't. He's only started to give him some respect in the last week or so and predicted Dallas would win in part because "they have the advantage at QB because Dak has more big game experience".
He's been on the Purdy wagon. I don't care why he picked against him. He was definitely wrong though to do that.
