Unless Morton’s out for an extended period of time I would say he needs to sit. Needs to develop the mental aspect of the game a bit.

If Hansen is going to keep his redshirt, I'd think we'd need to start seeing Arlen Harris sprinkled in some. He must either be dinged up from fall camp or buried on the depth chart.

Honest question... is Sadowsky the real deal, or no?

Thus far, it seems like he hasn't really made any big plays, and you don't see him mentioned much in a game.... but sometimes that's a good thing too.... means you aren't screwing up either.

Just watching him a bit... he seems almost too big... a bit slow? But I haven't really isolated on him a whole lot.
 
Watching Patton play makes me believe our backfield is in bad shape. He seems like a real liability. He seemed to have a lot of misses. Not at all aggressive. Can't tell if he can hit since never saw him in a position to do so.

Honestly, I am not seeing what the coaches are seeing in Sadowsky. He looks like he could be a good one, but not nearly enough to be starting games as a true freshman. Lovett has been playing decent and may end up winning that starting spot.

Lovett might be our best rushing linebacker (Bacon is also good). Hope he keeps getting more snaps

aaron brant started as a true freshman I think. 2003?
Osemele in 2008?
 
Sturges got a lot of time at safety in the second half last night. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a significant majority of his previous plays were probably on special teams? Regardless, pretty incredible for a true freshman walk-on to work his way into the rotation.

And not a walk-on, but equally impressive for Black to become a key offensive lineman as a true freshman.
