I’m tired of everyone claiming that ISUs young roster is a challenge with the insinuation that it will be a future benefit. In todays world of roster turnover, the future is now.

**** programs care about 6 wins for bowl eligibility and **** programs need multiple years to rebuild.

Unrealistic expectations for ISU, I am well aware, but it’s also todays reality.

How's Sanders doing at CU with such a new roster?

A young roster with the availability of transfers in today's football world means impact players didn't want to come play for you for whatever reason. Probably because the offense does not appear fun for anyone but an elite running back.

New roster does not equal young. See also TJ Otz.

But yes I agree, that the lack of impact players is a problem.

Like it or not, Campbell is opting to stick with player retention and development. I don't expect that to change. But the fact we've seen a few young guys flash (Onyedim, Orange, Sama, Brahmer) is definitely a future benefit. It's also a current benefit.

Like it or not getting high quality transfers means spending money in the portal. Pretty clear connection to help the cause.

So what is the complaint exactly?
Not saying I agree with who you replied to, but the issue that's spawned the entire last week of this is that we've lost almost twice the number of games we've won in the last 2 seasons and the record we've put together since what was supposed to be a program altering season is a losing one

There's no threads like this if we're winning

Quit comparing CU to ISU. We are never going to be able spend/attract the same guy Deion is. They have cash and Boulder is incredible. Super attractive for college kids.

Which is another reasons to quit with the young talk. Isu will always be young, the older guys of quality “will” get plucked away.

If you think ISU is Michigan or Texas you might as well switch teams. You are delusional.

Exactly, it’s a talent problem, not seniority.

Purdy had hardly any film and 'old' talent in DM and Butler and Hall took until mid-season in 2019 to really get going albeit held up from injuries a bit.

Either way I'd guess these boards 2018 and 2019 weren't projecting either to be renowned NFL contributors.
