CyHawk Hot Takes

Special Team / Defense of both teams score more than their offensive brothers.

I don't think McNamara is as hobbled as we are being led to believe, maybe not at all.

Iowa is going to come out wide open (for Iowa) on offense.

Iowa Leads 13-7 at the half.

Enter the professor. ISU pitches a shutout in the 2nd half.

ISU wins 20-13.

Iowa outgains ISU by 50 yards. Each team has a turnover. Special teams are pretty even. It is a very tense game but not that exciting.

We see a total 'psych' on ISU's special teams and both teams run the ball better than last week.

Is overtime just trading off 2-point conversions now? I can't keep up
Just about.

First overtime is "normal".

Second overtime teams must go for two after a scored touchdown (this rule used to start with the third overtime).

Third overtime and beyond is trading off 2-point conversion attempts.

Outrageous prediction: A safety ends up being the deciding factor in who wins this one.
