What I took from the Gaines comment was that Greg was meh in the spring and turned it up in the summer. Man, all it really takes is to make a couple of plays in a game and it can all change. Hoping that happens for him.

I think he’s trying less to make his nothingburgers sound like something. He never said anything in pressers but it used to sound like he was saying something. Now he’s just like “I have 5 sentences I’m going to say for next 20 minutes and I’m only going to move words around in the same sentences I will repeat just to confuse Randy”

I don’t think that Gaines is a burner. The way I look at it, Gaines is a Cris Carter type, Ngoyi is roughly in the Randy Moss (/TJ Tampa) lengthy freak mold, and Michael Parkes is a…Lynn Swann type. Or whoever is the contemporary version of that.
