I'm just glad ISU isn't playing Colorado the week after a coach-firing.Another head coach fired… Another coaching search has started, and… Gasp… For once Campbell’s name is nowhere to be found
Yeah, I went to that game in Boulder since it was the last time ISU would play there. They had fired their coach that week so naturally we took the opportunity to find a way to lose.I'm just glad ISU isn't playing Colorado the week after a coach-firing.
Wasn't that another CPR special?Yeah, I went to that game in Boulder since it was the last time ISU would play there. They had fired their coach that week so naturally we took the opportunity to find a way to lose.
Best in the business I hear.Manning would be a perfect candidate there.

I think it was compounded because Arnaud got injured during that game (but don't recall precisely what point of the game). Anyone feel free to correct my details.Wasn't that another CPR special?
Ah yes that elusive 6th win in the 2010 season.I think it was compounded because Arnaud got injured during that game (but don't recall precisely what point of the game). Anyone feel free to correct my details.
The "expected" result was winning and would've gotten ISU bowl-eligible. (CU was a disaster leading up to it that season).
I don't get the love for Deion. He's always been a blow hard. Great athlete. Guess we will see what kind of coach he is.Looks like Sander and his agent pretty much wrote their own contract with CU. Sanders gets to make his documentary, say whatever he wants, and gets ALL the money. CU gets exposure but no money. This will end badly for CU IMO.

If Sanders can give CU a pulse again and then leave in 3 years or so, it won’t be a bad situation, unless Prime goes nasty towards CU.Looks like Sander and his agent pretty much wrote their own contract with CU. So idolatry? He always came off to me as someone who needed all the attention. He had a major talent advantage at his previous coaching stop. Maybe he will always draw that kind of player? Like I said we shall see how this goes. The love is this.
We grew up watching one of the greatest athletes of all time. He was a defensive back that never got burnt and if he did he had a weird closing ability to catch back up to the fastest guys on the planet. Mix that with the fact that he played pro baseball at a pretty darn high level and you have one of the greatest athletes of all time. Then you add in the fact that he didn't just go try to get a D1 job like Wake Forest or Rutgers or something like that. He went to a HBCU and learned the ropes a little bit and proved he could win and upgrade a football program. Is he a crap talker? Hell yes. That is part of his charm. So far though he has done whatever he says he is going to do and he does it at a high level. That is why we have love for him. He is part of our childhood growing up and watching one of the best ever.

I respect his accomplishments as a pro athlete. He annoyed me as an athlete and still annoys me now.The love is this.
