Swamp Kings

I liked it. Pretty sanitized, but very entertaining.
I've heard that they glossed over a lot of the uglier aspects of that era. Disappointing. On the other side of the coin, I felt like the Johnny Manziel documentary didn't pull its punches, or at least, they tried to make it appear that they weren't.

I liked the Johnny football one so much that I fell asleep during it.

Yeah, there's almost 0 Aaron Hernandez discussion.

I enjoyed it but wish it was a few more episodes to really dig into some of the things that went on.

Pretty solid documentary. I used to think Tebow was a total clown back when he played but I'm opening up a bit after seeing that.

Until I saw that same shot in the doc I completely forgot McCarney was on those teams as a DL coach. It really made me rethink what I thought about Tebow, he was a warrior. There should have been a whole episode on the arrests in 2008-2009

Yeah, there's almost 0 Aaron Hernandez discussion.

I saw several names from that era thrown around that weren't mentioned hardly at all that apparently were connected to some really horrible stuff.

It sounded like they were the 2000s version of mid-90s Nebraska sweeping it under the rug.

Doc was pretty good. Not sure I agree with much of the criticism out there. Urban came off as unlikeable and an overall miserable person. It definitely touched upon the cloud of discipline issues hanging over the team, the lack of leadership, and factors contributing to Urban being way too lenient.

Not quite sure what people were expecting. It's not like Tebow and Urban are gonna agree to sit down for a documentary who's sole aim is to burn down everything they accomplished...

It was good but didnt get into any of the off the field crime stuff so it was ok.

Only saw a couple of clips but it felt like there was supposed to some sort of shock value to it. Seems like what many people figured happened, did.

Watching 2nd part. I get wanting to be a disciplined team but some of the stuff the players had to do in workouts seems a little extreme.
