A few of my friends and I are thinking about going to the Ames vs. Johnston game on Tuesday. I am just wondering how early we should go to the game in order to get seats. Also, I have not been to a HS basketball game in 8-9 years. What do the tickets cost?

Haven't been to a game in a few years, but coming from a J-Town grad, my advice is to show up early. The Johnston Community cares about its basketball team and isn't afraid to show it. When I was in school the gym would easily be filled before the girls game (or sophomore game depending on the opponent). The gym is decent size, but gets crowded real fast. I myself want to go see HB play, and know that a few of my fellow graduates are going as well. So my advice is to show up early, they aren't afraid to turn people away (which is what usually happens when they play Urbandale).

The game isn't in johnston its in ames, its our senior night. I would try to be there around 6.

i'll be at ames pancheros at 5 15 go dragons, the biggest upset in iowa basketball history

your a joke. i wouldn't say a 14-4 team is a joke

well compared to ames high, yes they are. the dragons cant match up against ames high. sorry to break it to you, but its true. if johnston stops HB, then they have to deal with McDermott, Pritchard, Weber, Kohler, Crandell, Stuve, the list just keeps going on and on...
