Jamie Pollard has penned a letter to Cyclone fans on the We Will Collective challenge:

I don’t know what an “exclusive shareholder certificate” is but I’m about to find out!
Cylone stonks always go up! buy high! hold!

But for real, I hope ISU fans take advantage of this. A great opportunity to prove outsiders wrong, that we aren't all cheap mofos. (also gotta have money in the bank to pay the basketball team after they win the natty)

This is a cool initiative. I have seen @brentblum say that we are in the bottom 10% of Power 5 NIL collectives in terms of funds. Seeing as there are less than 70 Power 5 programs, that means we are looking up at more than 60 schools right now!

If we hit this target and We Will gets a $400k infusion, will that change or is it simply a good start toward improving? What would we need to do to get We Will to the middle of the pack among the new Big 12 - something like 10th out of 16 at worst?

This is awesome, glad Pollard did this but I’m sure he wouldn’t feel the need to do this if we were crushing it. Hope this convinces those on the fence that it’s critical to the whole athletic dept that we’re competitive here! He even mentioned the coaching staffs so I’m guessing he’s also heard about it from them

It is insane just how much these college football programs demand from their fans financially IMO. I know it's just the way things are now, but I can totally understand how most fans cannot possibly afford to give what is needed from them for both the athletic department and now the We Will collective on top of it.

I commend those who are able to give, and do so. It is appreciated. I want ISU athletics to thrive, but the amount of money it now takes and demands from its fans is insane.
