Assuming you are referring to Natabou? She just finished playing for Czechia in the World University games in China (7th place out of 12) with 11.6 ppg and 11.8 rpg. The last game was Aug 5, although the games run through Aug 8 so she may have stayed until then. I'm not sure if it's practical for her to catch up with the team in Italy or if she's just going to return to the US.Down one center? Is she still playing? Will she get to meet up since presumably she is on the continent?
Assuming Steph is Catholic (good bet as nearly 70% of Brazilians are) she has to be in Heaven at the Vatican. Tourists at the Holy City must have been impressed and a little perplexed how so many tall ladies came to be in one group. But likely, they knew.
Liechtenstein (as is German, Swiss, and Austrian) is part of my ancestry and it is a very small country, and the Vatican is even teenier. Wow.
Yeah I can see that. Teams get a trip every 4 years. With COVID restricting things for a few years, teams would have felt more comfortable planning these trips for this year.I'd swear every WBB in the NCAA is doing a tour of Europe this summer. For the Italy/Greece leg I think they are probably seeing a group of tall Americans most every day.
Just off the top of my head I know Gophers, Hawkeyes, UConn and Kansas. Ran across Belmont the other day trying to figure out via the Google who the European All-Stars might be and Belmont popped up as playing the Rome All-Stars while on their Italy/Greece tour.
I feel like we aren't going to see much beyond a final score for these games.

Maybe the Pope himself would be out there welcoming the Messiah of WBB.Was thinking that same thing, probably a bit of a backlog and now a rush. Somebody is busy setting these up. Wonder how they find enough Euro teams to play them. Seriously, there looks to be at least a game everyday (maybe more?) in some of these places. Based on our score it looks like we at least drew a decent team. Saw some university winning scoring 100 something to 25.
Would be fun to see a composite collage of all of the teams posing in front of the Acropolis or the Vatican.

With so many new faces on the team I was kind of interested to see how the freshman and transfers do, even if it is just a scrimmage or exhibition.Depends on what the teams wish to share. These are pretty much something akin to scrimmages or exhibitions, really hit and miss one the level of competition. Did see a short snippet of Indiana's Sara Scalia limping off the court in a game in Italy or Greece. Last thing you want to have happen. Maybe just cramped up or something because she was out doing team fun stuff the next day.
