Random observation but I’ve noticed the team has been using the vintage CY basketball logo all over social media and is even on practice uniforms rather than the traditional I State logo.
Are we due for new uniforms? I’d love if we incorporated the vintage CY logo permanently on uniforms with script “Iowa State” or “Cyclones”

We are due for new uniforms and I think we'll be getting them this season. We 100% should be using that logo on our uniforms or at least one throwback uniform, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
We should use vintage CY on the shorts instead of the tornado.
I'm obviously biased, but other fanbases have agreed as well that Iowa State has great throwback logos and we massively fail at actually using them. It's not that hard. You don't need a full set of uniforms to showcase the logo. We could be using patches in both football and basketball and we could be using decals on our helmets for football.
My favorite comment on our mascot/logo still is the one from Gary Barnett:
But Rob Jones was 2-2 from the FT line! I fully expect that percentage from him this upcoming season
Pretty sure when the team went to Italy a few years back someone live streamed it on Facebook, it was about as grainy as NBA Jam 2003 but I'd accept that again today.

I was concerned we had no offensive rebounds, then saw we were shooting 70+% from the field and the other team only had 3 defensive rebounds so not many balls to go get. Also see that both King and Ward had 2 fouls each early, which is one of my biggest concerns about people thinking they can keep Robert Jones on the bench.
On a happier note, Milan has played 4 minutes with no fouls. In the first game stats showed he had 5 fouls in under 15 minutes of court time.
