Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

See the significant difference between this and what Stew-baby wrote? Both said the same thing but in very different ways. It's like Stew hates the Big 12 or something...
This guy and Stew are impacted by this stuff completely differently. Stew is tied to the Pac12 brand. This dude is an Arizona State version of Jason Scheer. Of course they are going to spin this stuff differently.

this photo from like 2004... these chicks are grandmas now

Washington BOR also has a board meeting tonight, 9pm Pacific time. I assume that also covers Wazzu.

Tomorrow should be a very interesting day, whatever happens.

Stewart is The Athletic's editor-in-chief for college football, not their Pac-12 writer. He will still be doing the same thing even if the Pac-12 dissolves. Which is why him constantly bagging on the Big 12 is worse.

I actually think Utah Pig Bus made a fine point. It’s fine to say “I prefer playing the teams in the PAC 12.” But would that poster rather play in a conference with (most likely) Washington State, Oregon State, Cal, Stanford, and mountain west teams, or the big 12? Either answer is fine and just a matter of personal preference, but that’s the question.

I don't get why some are down on adding UC and UH. They've both won basketball national championships. They've both had top 5 football teams. And they're both in top 25 media markets. What's not to like for the B12? Spotty attendance I presume is the main sticking point? You'd think that will improve once they become B12 regulars.

UCF, that one I get as a legit question mark. Outside of UF and FSU football, Florida isn't exactly known as a hotbed of sports fans. I'd bet that even today, half the kids enrolled at UCF for fall semester don't even know they're now in the B12 conference. And prolly don't care, either.
I'm not an expert and have never been to a game there. However, from what I can tell, UCF fans are pretty passionate about their football team.
