He was dealt a 3, 4, 7, 8, 9... but discarded the 3 to go for the inside straight.I've seen people trying to blame this whole thing on Larry Scott, and while I agree GK was dealt a bad hand, he's made the wrong move basically EVERY TIME.
BY looks like he might be allergic to carbs.Interesting. Figured BY was a mac & cheese and apple juice kind of guy.
Plus, not signing up for Utah or ASU until UO/UW say 100% no way - which is probably only the case if the B1G takes them.Arizona has an invitation. I understand they have to make a decision by Friday. They have a lifeline. ASU does not. Utah does not. Arizona really has no leverage. None. They will take the deal. They really don’t have a choice. Money and joining the best basketball league in the country. ASU and Utah may be friends. But they are also competition. This is Survivor.
This is how wild speculation is done, folks!
Maybe it's lab-grown dinosaur meat. Or maybe it's dinosaur meat in the way Kei$ha uses the term.I’ve always liked dinosaur meat. Tastes a lot like ground up and pulverized chicken with a lot of fillers mixed in. Still amazed they can get dinosaur meat since they’ve been gone so long, but these are the wonders of modern science.

How long do you think BY would give UO/UW to work with the B1G? What is their deadline, if any?
Yormark has been brilliant. Jumping P12 for the Fox/ESPN contract saved the conference imoNow think how we dodged the Bob Bowlsby bullet with him retiring when he did. OuT happens and Bob wants into the PAC (was an AD there, thought they were the cool kids and was panicking), they turn their noses up at us. So we have to grab 4 teams. Bob settles in, announces his retirement. big 12 hires BY and Brett comes in and says move your *** Bob I'm going to actually do something besides dunk my donut in my coffee and collect a check. He then proceeds to do what a good commissioner would do and goes on the offensive. If BB would have stayed on one more year, we could have been in some serious crap.

And had Bob been our commissioner, we would probably be joined to the PAC after LA schools left.Yormark has been brilliant. Jumping P12 for the Fox/ESPN contract saved the conference imo
But he was aided by USCLA departing, the P12 having a commissioner in way over his head, and 10 years of crappy P12 football/financial management
Had Bowlsby not added the other 4, Yormark doesn't have a solid base to start from and that's before we talk about the destabilizing of the Pac that the Big 12 had nothing to do with. Now think how we dodged the Bob Bowlsby bullet with him retiring when he did. Bowlsby was still the commissioner at that time I believe. USCLA announced their departure June 30th and Yormark started on August 1st.And had Bob been our commissioner, we would probably be joined to the PAC after LA schools left.
You think Bob had any choice? He was pushed into that. He tried to join the PAC and they said no. I'm assuming the b12 ADs said we have no choice, but to expand. That was the only option and the B12 had been considering teams even before BB became commissioner.Had Bowlsby not added the other 4, Yormark doesn't have a solid base to start from and that's before we talk about the destabilizing of the Pac that the Big 12 had nothing to do with.
BY is good. I would certainly enjoy seeing a transcript of his interview for Commissioner of the Big 12. I'll bet that would be some inspiring reading. I know that likely will not happen but I'll bet that things are going the way of the plan that he laid out to the Big 12.Preach!

Have you ever seen Jamie and Wendy together????What?
The ADs have nothing to do with realignment, that's all the presidents/chancellors. Also, Bob became commissioner in 2012 after the first round. Jesus Christ himself could've been commissioner when UT/OU got the offer to go to the SEC and couldn't have stopped it. Without Bowlsby getting the big market schools, there's no way that we're at a point where the Big 12 has the stability and money it has.
Yormark has been fantastic but it's okay to give Bowlsby some credit here too for keeping the league together to get to this point.
