Update 2023-24 roster up

125- Kysen
133- Redding
141- Ech
149- Swiderski
157- Chittum
165- Carr
174- Gaitan
184- Feldkamp
197- Broderson
Hwt- Bastida

That lineup is pretty damn salty. However, we still need a focused Kysen at 125 (which hasn't happened in his career yet) and Redding to commit to going back down to 133 which isn't a given. Broderson at 197 might be considered the weak spot in this lineup, but I have heard a lot of good things from how he has looked this summer and I am hopeful we see a different Julien when weight cutting isn't a major focus. His style also matches up better at 197 than it did at 174.
Julien with 2 years left to compete. I think we will see that 197 will be a great move for him and I hope he sticks around for both years.

Grice

I have taken Dressers comments about Euton and Kraisser as Casey might have gotten the better of that match-up with CC.

By that I mean, 157 is up for grabs yet.
If Casey did beat up on Chittum, we have to be fair to Chittum. Casey has been training in the Iowa State room for over a year now while Cody hasn't had that luxury. He had to suffer in a room out east and is just getting his footing under him. He'll be much better in December/January than he is right now (especially at folkstyle)

133 Question: Are those of you who are picking Grice picking him because you think he's better than Redding or you don't think Redding can pull the weight? I also wonder if one of the Frost brothers will try for 133 since they both had impressive true freshman years. That weight looks to be up for grabs IF Redding is moving up. I'm a bit reserved with Grice until I see him in a starting role against some quality opponents. Redding would be my bet at this weight if he can make the cut.

Excited for Grice here because he has talent but Redding definitely has the results and experience. Frost boys don’t get talked about enough in my opinion. Until they show us they aren’t capable, they still have potential to be Ian Parker good

I’m not going to say Grice can beat Redding if he can get to 133 (im betting he’s our starter at 141), but Dresser told us that Grice has looked real good.

I'm sure you all have your season ticket renewals in, but if not, today is the last day. I can't imagine missing out on this year and I'm trying to recruit some friends into the Cyclone wrestling world. It still feels like we're getting in on the ground floor. Let's Go!!

Ian Parker in January or Ian Parker in March? Those are two different guys...
