Fargo

Super tough event. Just got back i from there. Not the outcome we wanted but we do not do a lot of freestyle. Lots of upsets though. Have to do battle with the best to see where you are. Being in the same bracket as Tate and seeing the gap he has on the rest of the bracket first hand is crazy

Haven't been following this super close, but browsing the brackets this morning and some items of note:
16U 195 - Ross and Mickel both in semis on opposite sides
16U 88 - Little Chittum in the semis
JR 113 - Jake Knight and Dru Ayala both in semis on opposite sides
JR 126 - Giomio lost in Rd16. Meza to semis opposite side from Jax Forrest
JR 132 - Hilton lost in quarters. Kale Peterson to semis
JR 138 - Kane Naak lost in quarters in what must've been a wild one 15-11 to #6 ranked kid (Neb commit)
JR 182 - Tate Naak dominating. In semis.
16U 195 - Ross takes 1st. Mickel defaulted in semis on and finished 6th.
16U 88 - Little Chittum 4th
JR 113 - Jake Knight beat Dru Ayala for 5th
JR 126 - Giomio lost in Rd16. Meza 6th.
JR 132 - Hilton took 3rd. Beat Sergio Vega who finished 4th. No idea if mutual interest, but he is the son of one time cyclone Danny Vega.
JR 138 - Kane Naak DNP
JR 182 - Tate Naak dominated. 1st.

After watching plenty of Fargo matches the past couple days this tournament is still as tough as it’s ever been. The talent level is so high and there are always going to be the elite kids who don’t come but for any kid who left Fargo as an AA they are an absolute stud. Those brackets were incredibly deep with talent and the ones who made it look easy are going to have immediate college success.

Picture from 4 years ago at camp. Tate in front of Orlando who he wrestled in the finals. Believe there is 4 division 1 wrestlers in this photo, maybe more

Tate & Sawyer advanced quickly to the semis
Also Kane won his match 9-0 and is into the semis. The kid Tate has won 8-0 over Han-Lindemyer from Minnesota who was a u17 world team member in Greco. So this kid from Michigan must be tough.
