I don't think they necessarily signed a deal- they took on some of the games. I'm not sure exactly how the $$ works out but if anything, they're getting more exposure.
I think Jason is done with realignment/media rights deals.
Obviously the PAC leaked this out to get ahead of things. Seems they went to their buddies Dellenger, Mandel, and Dinich rather than Thamel, McMurphy, or Dodds to try and control the narrative better.
Mandel played nice with his tweets, emphasizing the narrative of “new players” coming to the table. Dellenger, not so much.
