Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

It used to be much easier to avoid that stuff. If the people you followed weren’t Tweeting it, it didn’t get in your feed.

In the last 5-6 months Twitter started pushing stuff you didn’t follow and the people you followed weren’t interacting with into your feed
This started a long time ago - before Musk - right around the time when Twitter got rid of the chronological feed. It did get a lot worse but then two feed options “For You” and “Following” were introduced. From my eyes, the problem is eliminated if you stay on the “Following” feed, but it’s still not chronological so Twitter algorithms are deciding what to show you.

I didn’t understand CW’s take on the PAC media rights negotiations on today’s 2GNC. If they have a deal “in principle” they’d be blasting that from the mountain tops instead of continually blowing past deadlines.

Might be they just got word adding sdsu and SMU were negatives

He said Iowa State and Kansas to B1G. I honestly was hoping that he was right.

Man, does this bring back memories when people thought Dave Wannstedt may have stumbled into secret backroom info on a FOX set. It would have been the funniest possible outcome.

“And for any of our listeners, it sounds like the Big 12 … the Big 12, we know Oklahoma and Texas are gone. And for any of our listeners, it sounds like Oklahoma State and Kansas State are going to the Pac-12. So that’s done. It sounds like West Virginia is going to end up in the ACC, which would make sense with Virginia, Pitt, everybody there. And it sounds like Iowa State and Kansas are going to join – they’re the two schools that are probably going to join the Big Ten here locally.”

“There will be a few schools – the Texas Techs and TCUs – they’re right now, no one knows what they’re going to do,” Wannstedt continued.

You'd think that those who achieve the position of head coach in the NFL are reasonably intelligent people. Dave Wannstedt seriously challenges that notion.

When you actually dig in the psychology of human behavior, you see that most human behavior still hovers around middle school level. Many people want to think they are so much better and higher than that, but most aren’t. So yes, seeing how middle schoolers react to and with social media, and many other things, will give you a very good idea of how things will transpire since middle schoolers don’t try to disguise their behavior.
I'm an actual psychologist and can assure you human behavior is not at the middle school level. In fact, "middle school level" isn't a term found anywhere throughout the paradigm.

Middle school age is what I used as a term, that 13-15 age area. What age do you see human behavior at, and at what age is most social media at?

1. We intend to leave, can we get an extension on the notification deadline?
2. Just kidding, we’re staying.
3. Oops, looks like we’re leaving again now.
Not buying it, I don’t think they’re going anywhere.
