The only thing the Big12 really has to worry about for dates is for the TV deal. I’d be a bit disappointed if the TV deal weren’t already agreed to in principle before any offers were made to UA and CU, but there’s still details that’ll need worked out. So I wouldn’t think the date is as critical as it is for schools looking to leave a conference with a TV deal in place. But I can’t imagine this can go into the fall and still happen for 2024.

I believe it was the Arizona AD who mentioned they would want commitments from Big12 about # of football games on linear before joining conference.

Agree 100% that Yormark has had conversations with ESPN & FOX about additional linear slots for Big12 if 2 or 4 Pac12 corner schools jump. The obvious would be Big12 pick up the Pac12's after dark slot. Also seems like FOX would have some slots where they historically showed a Pac12 game at 3 or 7pm.

Would anyone be able to put into a table of what conferences would go in what linear timeslots in 2024 and beyond? I have heard the various timeslots and who will be taking them up thrown around a lot but still do not have a good idea of what that will look like. There are some contractually required ones for the BIG10 like having an 11:00 game on FOX but I am interested in what people's feel is on this

Nothing says travel costs are an overrated realignment discussion point when there is a HOCKEY conference with Miami Ohio, Western Michigan, North Dakota and Arizona State.

I actually believe him this time. The timing seems right with all the Pac 10 chaos and media days coming up. Seems like the perfect opportunity for Yormark to make headlines.

For me, it’s been fascinating to watch this play out. I kind of don’t want it to end. Hell, maybe it won’t and they’ll just do annual temporary deals.

I HAVE AUTHORIZED MYSELF TO ENTER NEGOTIATIONS WITH SCARJO AND JLH FOR A THREESOME.

WITHIN A MONTH, I EXPECT TO HAVE THE FRAMEWORK OF AN AGREEMENT REGARDING A THREESOME. SCARJO HAS PUBLICALLY SAID SHE IS OUT, BUT JLH IS STILL AT THE TABLE AS FAR AS YOU KNOW.
