Espn layoffs gameday affected

What are people's thoughts on Greeny? I think he's just awful... like fingernails on a chalkboard awful.

He has been ruining that network for years and years now... making it unwatchable. Such an elitist attitude IMO. Nobody else can touch him and his fancy degree from Northwestern.
At least he’s not constantly yelling. He’s not my favorite but he’s FAR from the worst on ESPN.

For the most part, I can't stand Stephen A. But I did LOVE when he was laughing at Dallas Cowboy fans crying.....

Put Texas fans in the middle after losing to Kansas and you have the same thing.

Yeah I never had a problem with Pollack's generally negative take on Iowa, some analysts like Iowa (Klatt) some don't. I just always felt Pollack never put in much work to make himself more informed. If the topic was anything not directly related to the SEC, he relied mostly on stereotypes and didn't have much of a clue.
Pollack sucked. His takes were dumb and about as informed as a guy that did some quick google search 3 minutes before each segment. Desmond was a little better but not much. Their content was freaking terrible.

Klatt is very well informed and does his homework. I have no problem with a guy saying something I don’t agree with as long as they have done some homework.

Klatt has been very pro ISU and negative on ISU depending on the season, like a real analyst. And really the time he was bearish on ISU was going into 2021 when he correctly thought ISU was not a top 10 team.

If I had to rank them, I wish they had gotten rid of pompous Rece Davis or Kirk before Pollack. Or never brought on McAfee. Certainly those moves would have saved a lot more money than DP, but he did not seem to add a lot if not talking about Georgia.

Agree. Klatt has generally been positive about Iowa but when Barta's new 25-point threshold for BF was announced Klatt was pretty relentless on just how monumentally stupid a move it was.

No way they will ever get rid of Kirk. Only way he leaves is if he goes some place else.

Couldn't disagree more. If you listened to him on the ESPN podcasts, he knew more about more teams than anyone on Gameday.

Why are you still watching these shows? There are so many better options.
