ESPN is somehow going to make things worse.
Won't miss Pollack. Basically an SEC shill who never seemed all that researched or informed IMO.
I always tuned in for Gene's weekly feature. With these cuts plus no more Bear don't see much reason to watch.
Not GameDay...but I will miss Max Kellerman and Keyshawn on ESPN...I enjoyed the relaxed sports discussions in the morning...KJM felt like a neighborhood discussion about sports (although J-Will can be a bit abrasive)...don't enjoy the non-stop yelling about who knows more about sports or who was right or wrong on the other ESPN channels...

Agree...I always thought Pollock was fair and a riser in the sports world...ESPN seems to be going all in on the Stephen A/McAfee types....
Kinda like Herbie is with the B1G... especially tOSU... but even worse than Pollack. Herbie is awful... but is likely untouchable for some reason?
McAfree is bearable in small doses, but I refuse to watch or listen to anything from Stephen A. Arrogant and wrong much of the time; I hate his outrage schitck.
Espn makes these cuts but keeps a guy on the air like Corso who yes is a legend but has no business being on the air due to age and health issues.

Yeah I never had a problem with Pollack's generally negative take on Iowa, some analysts like Iowa (Klatt) some don't. I just always felt Pollack never put in much work to make himself more informed. If the topic was anything not directly related to the SEC, he relied mostly on stereotypes and didn't have much of a clue.

For the most part, I can't stand Stephen A. But I did LOVE when he was laughing at Dallas Cowboy fans crying.....

MNF's coverage isn't outrage but it's loud and obnoxious and I wonder if their ratings just push ESPN in the direction for more dysfunction.
What are people's thoughts on Greeny? I think he's just awful... like fingernails on a chalkboard awful.
He has been ruining that network for years and years now... making it unwatchable. Such an elitist attitude IMO. Nobody else can touch him and his fancy degree from Northwestern.

He is awful but I dont watch his show. I only tune into anything ESPN is for sports. The rest is garbage.
Bear was only one I liked but have pretty much tuned out with their Hawk guest picker selections for Game Day at Jack Trice. Do they have someone that’s a fan of the visiting team anywhere else? ESPN hopefully laid off whoever their Hawk trolls are.
