Tree cleanup/pruning

Anyone have any recommendations on a company in the DSM metro. I just got an estimate of $1,200 to clean up 6 trees. Does this sound normal?

15 year old trees that mostly need the bottoms elevated. e.g. some of the limbs are 4 feet off the ground. I try to trim a little each year but it's gotten a little out of control

Maybe just me but that doesn't seem absurd if its like 2 guys for a half day/one for a full day.

I think $200/tree is a fair price, maybe a little high, if they're doing the cleanup.

Yeah, that's right in line with what I've paid for that type of work in the Des Moines metro.

I'd get a 2nd opinion. Not in the same area but the first one quoted us like $800 for 6-8 small tree pruning, plus some treatment stuff. Next company quoted 500 for the same work, minus treatment.
