Chicken I smoked a couple days ago with a little ranch and mozzarella.are the 2nd and 3rd pizzas in these pictures a chicken alfredo pizza? or buffalo chicken?
Buffalo sauce I can’t do. Makes me able to sh*t through a screen door.

Love their stuff. Even their big loud timer is top notch. The Signals and app integration let's me do so much with the Traeger without babysitting it.

I have the Signals, Thermapen, Dot, and Big & Loud Timer. All great products and make great presents from the kids.Yep. I have a thermapen, smoke, and signals.
If anyone is interested in a nice instant read but not wanting to spend as much as the Thermapen, I have their Thermopop and really like it.
It's a lot cheaper than the Thermapen and in my experience still settles in on a temperature very quickly where I don't feel I have to wait on it to "think" at all.
Yum! How long did you cook it for? This made me get the idea of doing some sheet pan fajitas (chicken/beef/shrimp on the pellet grill as well.View attachment 114045
Shrimp, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and summer squash marinated in garlic flavored olive oil and Italian dressing. Did low and slow on the Traeger. Turned out pretty well. Wanted to include some cut up sweet corn but none around here yet.
Used fully cooked shrimp so did 180° for about 2.5 hrs. I like my grilled vegetables firmer than al dente even. I only had the one grilling sheet so it was piled pretty high. More spread out would’ve gone faster.Yum! How long did you cook it for? This made me get the idea of doing some sheet pan fajitas (chicken/beef/shrimp on the pellet grill as well.
I have the MeatStick with bluetooth extender that's pretty similar and it works ok. It's cool to see the meat and ambient temps tracked together and nice to have just one probe with no wires, built in alarms, saved cook data, etc. but I do struggle with the app/connectivity sometimes. Not sure if Meater has the same issues.Anyone use a Meater thermometer? My wife got me one for Xmas, and the now 4 year old probes that came with my Pit Boss are no longer reliable and I finally tossed them. It's time for the Meater.
I have two Meater Plus models. I really find them unstable to the point where I'm rarely using them.Anyone use a Meater thermometer? My wife got me one for Xmas, and the now 4 year old probes that came with my Pit Boss are no longer reliable and I finally tossed them. It's time for the Meater.

If I go out of bluetooth range I have to take the probe out of the meat and put it back on the extender to reconnect as it won't let me just reconnect the extender. This makes it so that I have to keep my phone in range the whole time of the cook or if I leave then I lose my tracking of the cook and have to take the probe out of the meat, clean it off, re-dock in the extender, reconnect to my phone, and then reinsert into the meat.
It would be a huge improvement if all I had to do was reconnect my phone to the extender but that doesn't seem like an option unless I am doing something wrong with it.
The issue with my Pit Boss probe is that you would leave it sit in one point of the meat and the temp wouldn't adjust for hours. You'd then slightly readjust it into a similar part of the meat, and the temp would go way up. I was consistently going longer than I wanted because the probe was acting like the meat had stalled.I have two Meater Plus models. Maybe the block is better.
I use my Thermoworks Signals the most. For steaks, I just kind of fly by the seat of my pants.I use my Thermoworks Signals the most. It really was as step up for me from the Thermoworks Smoke.
Granted, that doesn't help for steak style quick wire free temping like the Meater which is finicky IMO. I couldn't really leave the grill area with that.
The Signals would be perfect then. 4 probe points. For steaks, I just kind of fly by the seat of my pants.
I'm more concerned about monitoring temperature on a slow cook/smoke.
I bet it was good and thawed.I wanted to learn how to smoke a turkey so I picked up a frozen one after Thanksgiving when there were available. I spatchcocked it and put it on the smoker this morning at 225 degrees on my Traeger. Once it gets closer to temp, I plan to crank up the heat to 450 to crisp up the crust until I reach 165.
