Tall people do. They also think that they have the right to sit in front of you at a concert or sporting event and invade your viewing space. Don't get me started on how they believe that they own the space above the rim and have the right to block shots and hog all the rebounds. The world revolves around them - no consideration for the average guy.

Agreed. This is one situation where being tall isn't advantaged for once. World's tiniest fiddle.
Except for the oversized backpack part this describes about anyone flying these days.
Getting nickel and dimed after paying a month's rent for a plane ticket is the annoyance.
For those that think if it can recline... It's OK when there is more room, or when nobody is behind you.
People are blaming the person too cheap to buy more leg room. Sometimes it's not an option. I could pass that back to you, if you want to recline pay for the luxury seats.
I had to fly to Australia one time for work, there was a little more room for reclining and its not unreasonable for people to find the most comfortable position possible. I slept all of 45 minutes of that 14 hour flight because it's impossible for me to get comfy on a plane. I envy those of you that can.

Why pay for luxury seats when you are fine with what the coach seats do, which is recline a little? Like someone else mentioned, do you duck down at concerts and games so the shorter people don’t have their view blocked?
I saw a study by MIT that demonstrated an R^2 value of 0.9996 between level of recline, number of miles driven in the left lane exactly at the speed limit and how big of a douche you are. It’s an incredible correlation of three variables, but you can’t argue science.
Nope. 1, there is nothing I can do. Nor do i sit taller than a person of "normal" height. My legs are longer though. 2, you can do something, you choose to be ****. We get it, you don't mind being a jerk. Even worse is you know it is a problem for others and yet you couldn't care less.
You can let the shorter people in front of you and switch seats. That is an option, but you seem to appear to be fine being a ****. It works both ways. Seems that concert people know when they buy seats that there could be a person taller than them infront of them. Just like when people buy seats on an airplane, you may get someone who reclines their seat.
Btw, I almost never recline because I can’t sleep on planes and will generally work. If people recline in front of me I just adjust and move on.
Better have a tablet because good luck using a traditional laptop if the guy in front of reclines.
But I actually don’t really care that much. I try to be considerate and don’t recline, but if someone in front of me does I’m not going to whine. I try to keep in mind that I’m benefiting from the damn near miracle of flight, and maybe shouldn’t ***** about a couple hours of moderate discomfort.
If people in front of me aren't standing, I don't stand. If it's a big play/down I'll stand up on my own, but I sit again once the moment has passed. At the Seattle Pride Parade Sunday we got awesome seats, right on the curb, and I sat for most of it so the people behind me could see and get some swag.
It's not that hard.
Most is on my phone and hard copy notes stuff. I'm old, a yellow pad doesn't bother me. May not be as efficient if I have to insert it into a computer later, but it does save time.

...and people who put their carryon bags in the first open bin, even though their seats are 10 more rows back.
...and people who have carry-ons the size of a small house and refuse to gate-check them before they are at the gate, then argue for five minutes about whether or not they HAVE to check it.
I've seen some of these stupid hack things out there about airplanes. One is to just go to the gate and wait for them to announce that they don't have enough overhead space and ask for gate checks. Another was to pack any extra pants or so that you want to carry on and avoid check in, in a pillow case because they won't keep people from bringing in a pillow. So people end up doing this crap and then plug stuff up....and people who put their carryon bags in the first open bin, even though their seats are 10 more rows back.

Another irritant is the people who bring in bags that are longer than the state sized and have to put them in sideways in the overhead and kill 2-3 bin spots.
