What is your Pet Peeve

People that say “whenever” instead of “when”. I’ve noticed an epidemic of this lately. I’m sitting at a restaurant in Indiana and the bartender has done it twice now.

Ex: I was happy whenever they told me… or Whenever they went…
These ones. It's either these or this one.

Self-venting gas caps on gallon containers. Try holding them down and pouring gas at the same time is almost impossible. The old separate vent and pour was way more practical.
I have a few old school gas cans of varying sizes that I will NEVER get rid of because of the idiocy of the newer style pouring mechanisms of current gas cans.

One of my biggest pet peeves when I'm on this message board is people who express their opinions as though they are facts. It reeks of arrogance

Just my opinion. :)

I think there are about 8 squirreled away in the garagemahal...along with every other auto part or scrap of wood that might possibly be used sometime in the next 20 years... :D

I’m sure I said this earlier in thread but 28 years into driving experience and I’m convinced I’m the only driver on earth who stays in the inside lane when turning left from inside lane. has to be way more than 99% who don’t. Maybe 99.9999% don’t…even when it’s a left turn where multiple lanes can turn left at same time.

May have already been mentioned but I am not reading the entire thread right now.

Roundabouts!! They keep building these things but people don't know how they work.

Bend Oregon is entire medium sized crowded city of only roundabouts. It might work for them w the rapid growth though.

It's really easy to look up how they work and if people understood how they work, and how much they help, they would like them.

I think the problem is that since they’ve only become more popular recently, most people didn’t learn in divers ed how to use them. I’d fall in to this group, and I’m only 35. I can navigate them, but I’m not sure if I do it by the book. And I’d bet most people won’t bother looking up how to correctly use them.

I have too many to list but two that happened to me today were following too close while driving and when I was at the store placing the shopping cart by the shelves opposite of where you are shopping therefore blocking the ******* aisle!!!!!!

Lol on roundabouts, they put 3 on the main road to my neighborhood and you see so many people that stop before they enter or the people that drive too fast and fly into it taking out a few signs

Tailgaters and people that stop in roundabouts and people that enter the roundabout to go right when there is a separate right turn lane.

Which is something that isn't too difficult considering all of the other stuff people constantly look up.

Drivers Ed programs have updated ways of teaching etc. but a quick google search can show people how to use them along with the rationale for them vs. other intersections.
