During the basketball game at Colorado a couple of weeks ago, most people probably saw the sign that one of their hippie fans had that read "You live in Iowa". Someone in the student section should bring a sign on Wednesday that reads "You have 3 fans" or something of that nature. I live in Omaha, so I will not be able to do this, but I would love to see something like that tv.

That really wouldn't work because to the average person, Colorado is a bit nicer than Iowa
there are a large number of pot heads at ISU as well. College in general. Doesn't really make sense....
Don't write any signs. They suck and beat us last time. We aren't in a position to pile on other schools, as we hate it when done to us....
Relax a little bit bud . . . it's a play on the hippie CU culture.

I'm going to have to second OC Cy's original suggestion on this one. We may live in Iowa, but we have more volleyball fans than they have for men's basketball.

in all seriousness, I'm not defending CU here, but I basically live in Boulder, and just b/c a bunch of kids have mop-like hairdues, doesn't make them hippies (I see plenty of the same type of hair in cyclone alley). I was at that game 2 wks ago, and believe me, there weren't many "hippies" there. As I've said before on here, Boulder is much more of a rich, white collar, elitist town than the hippie town it once was 25 yrs ago. Just be smart with the stereotypes.
