It’s me! I was a 25 lber in high school with eligibility left. I think with some training I could MAYBE make 97.

I see Feldkamp is still in the portal. He would be a great fill in at 184 while Tate redshirts. Go after Jamison and this lineup looks pretty damn good:

125- Perryman/Cabanban/Terukina
133- Grice
141- Jamison/Redding/Frost
149- Paniro/Swiderski (redshirt one, wrestle the other)
157- Chittum
165- Carr
174- Gaitan
184- Feldkamp
197- Maybe Yonger?
Hwt- Yonger/Schon

Sounds like it might be a longshot for Yonger to make 197 again, so the main hole in the lineup is currently 197. If we don't get Feldkamp, Broderson or Naak aren't the end of the world but probably aren't big point scorers at NCAAs.

Yonger to HWT sounds pretty official at this point.

97 is loaded anyways. Yonger just might even have an easier path to AA at HWT than 97.

Schon is quite a bit shorter than Sam was so I wouldn’t think he’s too heavy.

Yonger allegedly was cutting 30-40 lb to make 197 so I like the move if it happens.

Not sure it saves us any $ though because we don’t currently have much for options at 197 if he does indeed go heavy. Some promising youth but that’s a tough spot (unless I am forgetting someone)

If Yonger goes Hwt, and Feldkamp comes in at 184, 197 would be our biggest gap. Maybe Schon could cut down but from what I've heard he isn't very interested in doing that. I dont think it'd be worth it to pull the redshirt on Naak to go 197. Maybe Broderson could bulk up this summer? He has the height and frame. Probably not much of a point scorer there for NCAAs, but he might be the best on-roster option right now
