He's won Who's # 1, Super 32, dominated at Fargo. Was originally committed to Minnesota, flipped to Iowa last summer. Graduated a year early and has been training in Iowa City as a greyshirt. Has medaled at some senior level freestyle events this year. In my opinion he will likely be contending for a title or high AA right away.
Rumors that some team members felt lied to or alienated by Brands bros taking on the two older Ferraris. Chittum right in that weight range, don't know for sure that this is related but it seems likely.
It sounds like Chittum's dad strongly dislikes the Ferraris (which isn't exactly unusual). Cody and the Ferraris had some overlap at Blair Academy in NJ. His commitment is directly related to Iowa bringing in the 3 Ferraris, which I personally find hilarious because it was a super predictable outcome. Not Cody specifically, but that reasonable people within the program weren't going to be happy about it. It has happened everywhere they've went. They are an impressive level of toxic.
