thats a bummer. As much was we all made fun of his shows the antics within, the guy was super smart and filled a creative void in the world! RIP Jerry Jerry Jerry!
I just saw that. As someone who came of age when the Jerry Springer show was on, it’s wild to me that he was mayor of Cincinnati and had a serious political talk show.
Also, the dating show he presented called “baggage” was amazing

Gerald Norman Springer was born in the London Underground station of Highgate while the station was in use as a shelter from German bombing during World War II,[4][5] and grew up on Chandos Road, East Finchley. His parents, Margot (née Kallmann; a bank clerk) and Richard Springer (owner of a shoe shop), were German-Jewish refugees who escaped from Landsberg an der Warthe, Prussia (now Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland).[6][7][8] His maternal grandmother, Marie Kallmann, who was left behind, died in the gas vans of Chełmno extermination camp (German-occupied Poland). A part of most every kids sick day from school.
He scoured the trailer parks of America looking for people to exploit then absolved himself at the end with his little soliloquy ending with be nice to each other
Jerry Springer was the finest deviation from everyday life I ever encountered. I still remember during High School, being at a friend's house watching the "Too Hot for TV" VHS.

Until a few months ago I had no idea that guy has made a whole career out of being the guy that pulled the crack heads apart when they started fighting.

LOL it was my dad's secret TV watch he would never watch it if mom was around but if she was gone we would watch it.
