I got lucky I guess on the northeast side of CR. Plenty of pea-size hail (although nothing like Ames on Friday) and I saw a couple of larger hailstones not quite this big in my yard.

Not these storms. Too isolated and plenty of daytime to recover. If anything, these could lay outflow boundaries for future storms to interact with.

I like track meets, but last night it was like 35 or so and a solid N to NE (it changed on us) wind was hitting us pretty hard. It was too stinking cold to be outside. Son showed some solid improvement which is what I tell him his goal should be so it was a good night but not weather wise.

I have a really bad, "sick to my stomach" feeling about this now. The current HRRR models look extremely concerning.
