I didn't know that. Honestly curious...what is the history? That gesture has a racial history to it. I’m not saying that’s why Clark did it, but there’s a reason some players might take offense to it.

Can we stop pretending we care about women's college basketball now? Asking for a friend.
Hearing that Iowa fans are saying that their team is classy for ignoring the crap, and LSU is ghetto thugs and classless……….how does that correlate to the Iowa fans and their class???the amount of people up in arms for the LSU player's gesture to Clark is BAFFLING to me. Everyone is losing their sh!t saying how classless it is. But when Clark is cocky they remain silent? Hmmm. Strange.
Also, of all people, I am willing to bet Clark doesn't give two turds that the player did that.

Yeah we really shouldn’t be commenting on the physical attractiveness of women’s basketball players. Are these same posters going to be commenting on how handsome or homely the UConn or SDSU players are?
I know, what I’m saying, is isn’t it kinda pointing the classless finger at themselves since they are name calling and mud throwing like they are saying the LSU players are.Because Iowa's star player has done similar things.

Them winning is awful for us and Vice versa. It’s a fact. Time to deal with it. All the hawks are showing their true colors on social media right now. You don’t need to be in solidarity with that....and this thread is a primary example of why we get called "Clowns". Happy they lost, sure - but openly celebrating them losing a game we haven't even sniffed yet? Sure - have fun with that.
If that was us playing and the game was officiated that way- people would have an utter meltdown and collapse. There would be riots and message boards would burn to the ground.
Rightfully so. Everyone in the media has been going down on Clark on a national level the last week. I don’t think anyone has said a word about an LSU player. Just that Mulkeys an elite coach. The smack down was brilliant. The best player for LSU did it right to her face while standing next to each other during free throws...the LSU girls were no doubt talking some mad ****.

So glad I don’t need to say, “pics or it didn’t happen.”My sister in her 70s is diehard Clones. Hates the Hawks. Texts the family today saying for the 2nd and last time (did in semis) she will root for Iowa and all of us should.
Here's my text back to her and family.
I will insert every one of my fingers up my a** as far as they will go, twist until fully coated, and suck each one clean before I will even consider rooting for any Hawkeye sport.
Ended that family text.
Caitlin Clark is cute????
Be nice guys, a lille makeup and her hair did right I bet she can turn heads.Clark is homely.
Not cute. Better get your eyes checked. It'd also be nice if creepy, old male sportscasters like Jim Nance would stop slathering over CC. I mean his wife is probably her age for crying out loud.
Let's be honest: part of her appeal to guys like him is that she's cute as well as skilled at hoops.
That the board's only a reflection of how female athletes are viewed in a male dominated world of sportscasters, fans etc.
I really wasn't trying to start a **** storm. I made a joke about Jim Nance's recent fixation on CC.
And I find it creepy, being that his wife is much, much younger than him.
Yea, it would be a similar reaction as Iowa fans are having for sure.If that was us playing and the game was officiated that way- people would have an utter meltdown and collapse. There would be riots and message boards would burn to the ground.
Is @DrClone an eye doctor? Not cute. Better get your eyes checked.
