Omaha Biliew is a McDonald's All-American

Reminder the McD’s AA game is Tuesday on ESPN.
Omaha listed as one that impressed at the early practices.

Like how they mentioned James at the end as "always giving good effort". Dude is the Ms. Congeniality of this game. Really a shame his name elevated him into the contest.

I hear he's trying to talk Bronny into taking a preferred walk-on spot.
LeBron wanted to always play with Bronny. With the amount of money the NCAA could make off of it I imagine they could figure out a few years of eligibility for him too

Saw the Big 12 has the second most guys there. SEC is number one but most of them are Kentucky guys.
Big 12 has 4 teams with 1 each.

He's a bit more built than these guys but a guy like Jordan Miller from Miami and Tomlin from KSU are what I'd like to see us use Omaha as. Tomlin is a bit more of an inside guy but has the ability to put the ball on the floor and great at finishing around the rim. Miller is more perimeter oriented but he's a forward who can handle. Somewhere in that range.

Tomlin's going in the 1st round this year, book it.

I don't know, Bronny James is pretty damn good. Maybe not quite McDonald's All American good, but he's not that far off.
He's a good ballplayer. In terms of his level, I'd put him in a similar caliber of recruit as Momcilovic (they're obviously nowhere near similar players, I merely meant in terms of how touted of a recruit they are in terms of skill). The only reason he's in the McD AA game is because of daddy, but he's still a solid recruit. Wherever he chooses to play college ball, that school will get a ton of attention and extra press because of the name. My guess is Ohio State. That's where LeBron said he would've played if high school players couldn't be drafted.

On another note, it's insane the amount of talent that Kentucky brings in yet they always seem to massively underperform. Four top 10 players coming in next year is absurd. I'm sure they'll still underwhelm and fall massively short of expectations.

People get too hung up in positions. Good offenses flow to take advantage of skills. How many teams really play with a true(old time) post. The really good guys that can play with their back to the basket can hit the 3. I'll take 3 great guards and 2 forwards that hit the 3 and crash the boards. Helps with free throws too when getting to basket.
Anyone remember who are post player was on Fizer teams? The guards were most noteworthy.
Shirley and Rancik when they could stay healthy. But ISU played a lot of 3 guards with Stevie Johnson and Fizer down low because he was built like a brick shithouse.

Omaha was in for a couple possessions. He had two blocks in the first 3 or 4 defensive possessions.
like the blocks but this last two series he was in he was underneath and out jumped for several rebounds, but he was blocking out his guy fwiw. Seems like a wing....is that where he's projected to play?

Dunk contest round 2 up next. Bronny James (Lebron's son) in 2nd after round 1 but I think Omaha has a chance if he can stick his A game jam. He is tied for 5th now. He is just crazy agile for that tall!
