does anyone remember isu player fred brown?

supposedly played for the cyclones in the early 90s (i think). heard last night that he is the father of current ksu player, fred brown.

just curious if he looked/played similar to the current fred brown, if anyone remembers him.

I played some rec ball against him, still have never seen a verticle like he had. He could almost touch the top of the backboard.

I remember him. I don't think he was on scholarship for a while because his shoes didn't match the rest of the team's red/white Reebok pumps (does anyone remember Johnny picking someone's name out of Reebok shoebox for a free pair of pumps on his tv show?)

I looked him up after the K-State game. I have a nifty picture of him in the 92-93 pre-season MBB book. He looks pretty spiffy in wearing white shoes with tight white pants and a rugby type collared shirt. He was a JUCO transfer when Hoiberg, Meyer, Beechum, and Michalik were sophmores.
