Iowa State: 2023 Tournament Champions!

That guy said during the game that this means nothing if ISU wins but Texas could move up to a three seed. Seems weird. We have the 4th hardest schedule in the nation, our RPI is 11, we beat Texas two out of three times and we now have the same number of losses as they do. They need to take into consideration these two things although I know #1 is just unfortunate and not probably something they would consider: #1: A few of our losses were when we were still adjusting to not having Soares #2: We will bring the crowd and make the NCAA money!

Wonderful win for amazing effort and people. I am beyond excited.

As to seeding, I think we're still more than likely a 5, but would not be surprised at all to sneak onto the 4 line for the reasons that have been outlined - tough 3 game slate in the tourney we did, fan support and attendance, $, etc.

He better be ready to be pissed. Any other team in Cyclones position would get moved to a 4, but we won’t

Sometimes I think the men's committee (so probably also the women's) are too lazy to move a team based on the last results. My guess is the committee had us as 5 and won't move us even though they should.

So happy for these ladies! They continued to work hard and push through. Watching Diew, Izzy, and Fritz play at a whole different level the last month has been so enjoyable as we always knew what we were getting from Joens, Lexi, and Emily.

I also think Kane may have played her best three game stretch of her career here in KC. I also don't think it's a coincidence that Izzy's increased playing time has coincided with Kane playing better either :)

GO CYCLONES!!! CHAMPIONS!

Jamie and Noah were hinting we might get a chance to host. It's a no brainer from a financial stand point, the late season run might make it possible, but until today I would have assumed we were not hosting.

Sad to see the tourney ending play at municipal. Perfect building for women's tournament. Fitting for us to be a ones to close it out.

Can't believe it's been 22 since our last one but in early 2000's OU dominated with Paris twins then when they left Mulkey and Baylor took over.
