I'm not surprised with the rebound domination but I didn't foresee the complete domination on the offensive glass. Obviously there is no way to really qualify such a thing, but if one could form a committee that watched every P5 game and graded rebounding/offensive rebounding performance, I'd be shocked if there were more than a handful better than what we saw today. There is a good chance there might not even be one.

This is the kind of performance that has head coaches consulting their physicians after 4 hours.

Program has fundamentally changed. Some of it is personnel. Going deeper we might not have 5-6 guys who can create their own offense but we have that many who can offensive rebound.

That game was awesome. Great outcome (last 2 minutes were a bit sketchy) and about as entertaining a game as you’ll see.

A ton of great, individual performances, but Tamin Lipsey was amazing!!

Since it’s only two games now…does winning b12t put DesMoines in more realistic space or just move up to 4/5 line at some other site.

Because KU as a 1 seed will get Des Moines, there will not be the opportunity to play as a five seed there. A 6, possibly.

We never had interior length either. Osun, Ward, Jaz, Jones, Watson plays long…we’d typically have just one guy out there with that length.

If I looked at the box score right, 9 ISU players got an offensive rebound. BU was a good matchup for ISU, but if ISU can keep up pressure on the offensive boards, it will certainly enhance the chances of a nice tournament run. And being able to sub that deep into the bench in a non-blowout game will help too.

Not sure, can the NCAA put KU & ISU both in DSM?

Thought I heard during KU game last week that if KU was a #1 seed that KU wanted to be in DSM vs. Denver.

I’m not. Give this team Kansas. It’s about matchups, and I think Iowa State matches up better with Kansas. I mean…we lost by 2 in Lawrence and blew them out in Ames. West Virginia swept us.
