Their overall rebounding numbers, even their offensive rebounding numbers, are solid for in-conference play, but we've destroyed them in the glass since the 2nd half of the first game.
Baylor used to be a lengthy team that produced tweener wings/small forwards in droves, had slender but skilled post players, and used their length to play zone. The last 4-5 years they've really shifted to a perimeter oriented team that wins with shooting, quickness, and tempo. With the results Drew has had with it, I doubt they go back to what they once where.
It also helps to have TJ as our coach rather than Prohm. Under the latter we weren't really good at anything.

It looked like Gabe was chatting with our guys on the bench as the ball was coming towards him and he didn't know it. Kind of a funny moment more than anything else IMO.

These three Baylor games are nuts thinking about how bad they killed us rebounding during Hoiberg/Prohm years.

Since it’s only two games now…does winning b12t put DesMoines in more realistic space or just move up to 4/5 line at some other site.
I'm not surprised with the rebound domination but I didn't foresee the complete domination on the offensive glass. Obviously there is no way to really qualify such a thing, but if one could form a committee that watched every P5 game and graded rebounding/offensive rebounding performance, I'd be shocked if there were more than a handful better than what we saw today. There is a good chance there might not even be one.
This is the kind of performance that has head coaches consulting their physicians after 4 hours.

A lot of our players are pretty clearly high IQ guys in interviews. Lipsey, Gabe, Jaz, Watson and Holmes all sound pretty coach-like. Some years are better than others actually listening to those.
Feels more likely Creighton gets it. Most bracketologies have us playing above the 6 seed line now, which is our only shot unless you think we can get up to a 3 seed with their play. I don't.
