That Ohio State player must have the strength of Andre the Giant to send Clark flying through the air with just the slight push of the side of her hand.
Earlier in the game I saw one of the Iowa players drive contested into the lane, pause, forcefully body the OSU defender out of the way to get the bucket, and instead of the obvious offensive foul got a foul called on the defender … then on the very next possession at the opposite end, the very same Iowa player clearly fouled a Buckeye on a layup attempt and then looked wide-eyed at the ref, hands upturned, absolutely befuddled that she could possibly have been whistled for a violation. I know that stuff happens in every game all the time, men and women, but it seems like a standard for Iowa basketball for some reason.
