Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Nebby and the fanbase are the reason they suck, They should have kept Solich, and then to a point Pelini, he has was an ahole but won 10 games a year. Now they might have it right in Ruhlle. Time will tell
NU was doing better in the big ten with Bo then they had done the last few years while in the big XII. Tommy wouldn’t let go of his grip of the FB team and his time had passed. They started changing coaches and styles enough that their recruiting was all messed up along with their areas.

Hahaha that’s a trash take
So recruiting rankings matter if you are changing coaches every few years and they are using different schemes and prioritize different area? How valuable is a high 4 star pocket passer QB if his second year the new coach wants a dual threat? You the. Have lineman set up to locket protect but now you want more road graders.

Yeah it's pretty obvious Nebby's player development has sucked big time.
Yes that’s the reason. Nebraska is getting better or equal talent now running more of a pro style offense than they were running the wishbone, but putting less players in the NFL. The talent is there but the coaching is missing. Because it’s not an NFL scout’s job to spot talent or anything.

Now explain Nebraska if they favor academics over athletics. They took a middle of the pack, at best, big 12 academic school with that one. I'm not sure about Maryland and Rutgers.

I didn’t read that as academics over athletics.just that they value it.

NU was and is a good fit for BIG, but could they have gotten better? There’s an opportunity cost to NU.

There are rumored ACC 4-6 schools at various stages of looking to move to P2. BIG Presidents would approve UVa, UNC, FSU, and ND, potentially with Stanford and Duke on reduced shares.

Why would the B10 want FSU?

Hey. They have to do something. They are a brand for christsakes
FSU had the opportunity to join the SEC in 1992. They were approached, but they preferred the easier ride in the ACC (in football) when they were a dominant program. They made a terrible short-sighted decision and are paying for it now.

Lol. Recruiting rankings are meaningless.
I can't believe people still think this way.
Year in and year out look at the top teams how that goes with recruiting rankings. Heck, Iowa is around a top 25-30 recruiter. Combine that with playing bad teams and they win 8-9 games/year.

There was noise when aTm left they might be joining the Big12, never really heard how much that was actually a thing or just noise.
