Agreed. I’m kind of looking at it blindly… How many games to go after today? If there are a couple left, I’d say one more win to get us off of the bubble. And hopefully get at least one W in Kansas City. I’m not too worried. And hell, I like those 8-9, 7-10 matchups in the tourney the majority of the time!

yeah, it sort of used to be the rule a little over a decade ago, but now that more P5 teams are playing each other out of conference, it seems that's no longer the rule. Which is good as it encourages these teams to play out of conference games against each other.

I still look at it as though hitting 20 is a good place to be on selection sunday as you will have a lot less stressful day in case of upsets in tournaments.

If that’s the case only 5 big ten teams will make it in and we all know that ain’t going to happen!

I thought that at first, but it didn’t hold up when I tested it, and, frankly, I’d hope ESPN has slightly more integrity than to suggest ISU is a bubble team to generate clicks. I think the is OP trolling via Developer Tools.

After listening to Williams and Blum I checked out Jerry Palm's bracket just for fun. He lists Iowa State on the bubble, but also lists Iowa State as the highest 7 seed, over fellow 7 seeds Kentucky and Creighton. He does not have Creighton or Kentucky as on the bubble.
